A Stronger Foundation: Sustainability + Community Support

Turbo Console Log has thrived thanks to the generosity of its community. Donations remain deeply appreciated—and more needed than ever—but truth be told, this sprint was rough. Financial pressure, burnout, and the unpredictability of donations forced us to deviate from the bi-weekly release plan we've followed since January. Instead of shipping twice, we were sadly forced to ship only once this month.

v2.15.0 is not just another patch—it’s a pivot point. We’re laying the foundation for something more sustainable with the upcoming PRO version, while keeping the free and open source core alive, updated, and respected. This balance is our way forward, and your continued support—through donations, shares, or simply using the extension—means the world.

V2.15.0

What’s Fixed in v2.15.0

  • Fixed a critical bug where Comment, Uncomment, Delete, and even Correct Log Messages commands would not work when logType was set to debug (Issue #265 on GitHub). Huge thanks to tzarger for bringing this to our attention and helping improve the extension for everyone!

  • Achieved a major milestone of over 100 passing tests between unit and integration layers—reinforcing Turbo Console Log’s stability and long-term test strategy.

PRO is Coming in May 🧠

Turbo Console Log PRO launches next month. It will introduce a dedicated graphical panel that lets you interact visually with the extension and its logs. The PRO version will sit on top of the free one—meaning every core improvement will still go to both versions. We’re committed to keeping the free version powerful and open for everyone.

Why This Matters

Building open-source tools is rewarding—but also time-consuming and energy-intensive. By launching PRO, we’re creating a path that lets us keep pushing forward without burning out or depending on luck. It’s not a paywall. It’s a next-level experience built for those who want more, and want to support the project’s future.

Thank You

This project has always been about making your life easier as a developer. Every issue fixed, every detail improved, every message we receive from you—it all matters. Thank you for sticking with us. May is going to be a big month, and we’re hyped to share it with you.

Donations are still much needed more than ever 🤍

If you'd like to support Turbo Console Log, donations are still very much welcome—and truly helpful during this transition. Every bit fuels the mission while we prepare the PRO model. Thank you for believing in this project and helping it grow stronger.
