Introduction

Turbo Console Log's First Mars Release is here! This update is all about precision and reliability—ensuring log statements are inserted exactly where they should be. We tackled some long-standing issues related to object and array assignments, full statement recognition, and even smarter quote handling for more readable logs.

What’s Fixed in this First Mars Release

  • Corrected Log Placement in Object Assignments:Fixed an issue where log messages were inserted at the wrong line. Now, logs appear **immediately after the assignment**, as expected. *(Issue #252)*
  • Accurate Log Placement for Array Assignments (TypeScript):Logs were **misplaced** when working with TypeScript array assignments. Turbo Console Log now correctly identifies the assignment and ensures logs appear in the **right location**. *(Issue #253)*
  • Precise Log Placement for Single-Line Expressions:Previously, logs were sometimes **misplaced after closing brackets**. Now, logs appear **immediately after the selected expression**. *(Issue #254)*
  • Smart Quote Selection for Log Messages:Turbo Console Log now **automatically selects the right quote type** based on context and settings. This prevents syntax issues and improves readability. *(Improvement linked to Issue #254)*
